Canon Gl1 Minidv Do HD MiniDV Tapes Really Make A Difference?

Do HD MiniDV tapes really make a difference? - canon gl1 minidv

I have a Canon GL1 camcorder and I usually just buy your regular MiniDV tapes, but I've seen HD MiniDV tapes are good, and I wonder whether you are really good, or worth the money view additional.

pureinsomniac is correct - do not worry ...

The GL1 is not high-definition camcorder records in HDV format to DV format for standard definition only - so you can not do high-definition tape and can not benefit from a particular formulation of iron oxide to save data (HDV is 4x more data than standard definition DV). In addition, regular use HDV camcorders are the ordinary adhesive tape - the difference is minimal and significant only at the professional level.

Do not reuse the tape and not have a problem. Shoot, filling, blocking, add a new band. With about 3 U.S. dollars per are the cheapest available space.
